Miller Park Only MLB Park Selling More Sausages than Hot Dogs

By Jay Sorgi

A new survey shows major league baseball fans call hot dogs their favorite food, except in one city: Milwaukee.

Much like the sausages outdo the hot dog in the Sausage Race, they outpace dogs in entering fans bellies at Brewers games.

The National Hot Dog and Sausage Council took a poll showing that Miller Park is the only stadium in Major League Baseball where sausages outsell hot dogs.

The variety of bratwurst, Italian sausage, Polish Sausage and Chorizo all offer enough options under the category of sausage to allow it to surpass the hot dog.

Fans in the survey also voted Prince Fielder fifth mostly likely to win a hot dog eating contest among current and former players.

Never mind the fact he's a vegetarian.
