Milwaukee mayor and police chief meet with President Obama and AG
MILWAUKEE - Mayor Tom Barrett and Police Chief Ed Flynn arrived back from Washington, DC after traveling to the capitol to discuss violence.
Chief Flynn met with the attorney general where they discussed Milwaukee's violent summer. He told the Journal Sentinel this is the city's worst violence in his five and a half years as chief.
Mayor Barrett, along with 17 other mayors, sat down with President Obama to discuss how to reduce youth violence.
The two are holding a press conference Wednesday to talk about that trip.
