HARTFORD, Wis. - It is with heavy hearts that the Hartford Players planned to perform their rendition of Fiddler on the Roof Saturday night without one of their leading actresses.

Nineteen-year-old Jessie Blodgett was laid to rest earlier in the day Saturday, after being found dead in her home Monday.

Hartford Players dedicated the performance to Jessie.

Donations to the family will go either to a Central Middle School Orchestra Scholarship in Jessie's name, or to a charity to be determined that fights male violence against women, a cause that Jessie fought passionately for.
