MILWAUKEE -- Oui, oui Milwaukee! Bastille days are back again.

"it is one of the funnest in Milwaukee I think," says Ann Ieplae. "And its free and its downtown."

Cathedral Square has been transformed into a little slice of France, nd Charlie Izhimanis is taking it all in while entertaining the crowd with his gift of dance.

"Life is short," says Izhimanis. "I am not a baby, I am 73 years old."

We found booths selling French fries, French wine and my favorite, bengnets; doughy goodness dusted with powdered sugar.  I also found time to catch up on my French.

At night fall, hundreds laced up their running shoes to "Storm the Bastille", a 3-mile race through the downtown streets in the dark.
