Four Wisconsin drownings in 24 hours, three involving Milwaukee area

MILWAUKEE - Law enforcement are investigating four separate drownings in Wisconsin over a 24-hour period.

One involved a University of Wisconsin student from Milwaukee who drowned early Friday.

A drowning victim was discovered Friday afternoon at a Milwaukee park.

In another, a 56-year-old person from West Allis drowned in Shawano Lake.

A fourth drowning involved a three-year-old girl who drowned in Baraboo Lake.

Sauk County dispatch says the girl died Thursday evening after her body was found at Devil's Lake State Park in Baraboo.

She was flown to a hospital by helicopter, but did not survive.

Investigators were looking into details about each drowning.
