MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee Police have confirmed they have found the body of a missing man from in his lower east side apartment.

At about 5:45 p.m. the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner removed Glenn Willis' body from the building on the 1300 block of North Astor Street.

TODAY'S TMJ4's Shannon Sims says investigators have taken out bags of evidence from the apartment.

Willis' car was discovered on the city's south side Thursday night.

Crime tape was put up at about 10:00 a.m. Friday at that apartment building.

A friend told Shannon she had copied flyers late Friday to try to inform people about Willis' missing person case, before she found out about the discovery of the body.

"I was not expecting this," said Shalisa Hager, his co-worker.

"I had flyers in my car, ready to go back out looking as I got off of work."

Milwaukee Police Lieutenant Kenneth Grams updated Shannon on the investigation.

"We will proceed with conducting some interviews with some principal individuals that we have at the Milwaukee Police Department," explained Grams.
