Five people hurt in freeway bus crash
KENOSHA - The Kenosha County Sheriff's Department says that five people have been hurt after a truck collided with a Greyhound bus.
The collision happened at about 2:25 p.m. on I-94 northbound north of Highway 165 in Kenosha.
According to Sheriff Bill Beth, traffic was slowing down on the freeway, but a pickup truck was unable to slow down in time before rear-ending the bus.
One person was taken to a hospital, while four others were treated on the scene.
The Sheriff described all five people's injuries as minor.
Crews had to shut down two left lanes of I-94 northbound so crews could take passengers off the bus, remove vehicles and clean up the scene.
Lanes were re-opened at about 3:50 p.m.
