Animals seized from Pleasant Prairie farm up for adoption

PLEASANT PRAIRIE - Police say that people will get the chance to adopt animals that were seized when officers discovered dozens of dead animals on a local farm.

According to police, shelters and rescue groups have taken in a number of animals.

A circuit court allowed for the Village of Pleasant Prairie to put the animals up for adoption.

People can adopt:
- Nearly two dozen horses
- 20 ducks
- 8 cats
- 7 sheep
- 4 chickens
- 3 geese
- 3 goats
- 3 rabbits
- 1 bull
- 1 peacock
