Charges expected against Wauwatosa man in Potawatomi shooting
MILWAUKEE - Prosecutors are expected to filed charges Monday against a man accused of shooting his girlfriend at the Potawatomi Casino early Sunday morning, according to the Journal Sentinel.
The 27-year-old man from Wauwatosa was reportedly in an argument with the 23-year-old woman around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, when he allegedly shot her. The shooting left many panicked patrons running for the doors.
"We are thankful no one was hurt more seriously and that the situation was contained quickly," the casino told the Journal Sentinel. "Response by local law enforcement as well as our security team was outstanding. Potawatomi Bingo Casino will continue to cooperate and assist throughout investigation into this extremely isolated event."
