Stabbing injures Sheboygan man, girlfriend in custody

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. - A 35 year old Sheboygan man, who drove himself to a clinic Saturday morning, was the apparent victim of domestic violence.

 
The man tells police that after an extended verbal argument at a residence in the 15-hundred block of Erie Avenue, his girlfriend stabbed him in the chest with a knife.
 
Police have since taken a 24 year old Sheboygan woman into custody for felony reckless injury and she is being held in the Sheboygan County Detention Center.
 
The man was transfered to the Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center for treatment.  His injuries are considered non-life threatening.
