Harley riders take the scenic route to benefit COPS
MILWAUKEE - House of Harley-Davidson hosted the second annual Law Enforcement Ride, benefitting the COPS organization, that's the Concerns of Police Survivors.
Officers led the ride Saturday which began in Milwaukee and took a scenic route to the COPS Kids Camp in East Troy, Wisconsin.
TODAY'S TMJ4's Todd Hicks spoke with a woman, still healing after her loved one was hit by a drunk driver, not long after he graduated from cadet school.
Denise Held doesn't want to think about the pain her boyfriend went through that night. Right now, her focus is on others in helping them to deal with their grief this Memorial Day weekend.
COPS was founded to help families deal with officers killed in the line of duty.
"Being able to give back to an organization that helps people like me as a survivor brings joy to my heart and helps me honor my love," said Held.
