MILWAUKEE - A worker is in critical condition with what police are calling non-life threatening injuries after an industrial accident on the city's north side.

The Milwaukee Fire Department tells TODAY'S TMJ4 the accident happened at about 7:45 a.m. Thursday on the 7000 block of North Teutonia Avenue.

A TODAY'S TMJ4 photojournalist says the factory involved is SIC Lazaro.

TODAY'S TMJ4's Todd Hicks says that a 43-year-old man from Cudahy was cleaning a cement mixer when they became trapped inside.

Emergency crews extricated the worker after 20 to 30 minutes.  That worker was taken to Froedtert Hospital.

Flight for Life was supposed to take the worker to the scene, but bad weather halted their attempt to head to the scene.

The deputy chief says that Milwaukee Police and the District Attorney's office have gone to the scene for a possible investigation.

Todd reports that OSHA is considering an investigation as well.
