GLENDALE - It is a restaurant backed by two MVPs. Now, they will have two locations.

The second 8-Twelve MVP Bar & Grill is set to open at Bayshore Town Center in Glendale this fall.

"They want to provide a venue for their fans to come to," said SURG Restaurant Group co-owner Omar Shaikh.

It's '8' for Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun and 'twelve' for Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. They are friends at the top of their respective games in business together.

COA Restaurant is going out of business at Bayshore. The new 8-Twelve is expected to open at the location in October.

"We are very excited to be opening another 8-Twelve in a very special setting like Bayshore Town Center," Ryan Braun said in press release statement." I am thrilled to be able to continue my involvement in the community and give back to the city that has been so supportive throughout my career."

"With the great success we've already had at our Brookfield location, Ryan and I are excited to bring the 8-Twelve brand to the North Shore," Aaron Rodgers said in statement in that same press release. "The new Bayshore location is as good as they come, and we're looking forward to providing the North Shore community with the unique, quality dining experience 8-Twelve fans have come to expect."

8-Twelve features a farm-to-table concept with several menu items originating at local farms.
