MENOMONEE FALLS - It was a frightening night for McDonalds employees.

On Thursday two masked gunmen burst into McDonald's and demanded money. They haven't been caught, but police are saying they have nothing to fear.

"I’m going to go home from now on,” explains Germantown resident Victoria Zoellner. “I'm not stopping anywhere else because you never know."

Zoellner lives in Germantown. But she's shaken up after last night's armed robbery.

“They could be right around the corner waiting for you to stop your car and they'll just shoot you," adds Zoellner.

The men robbed the McDonald’s at the corner of Pilgrim and Appleton. Police gave us photos that show the suspects wearing bandanas and hoodies. They used long guns to rob the store, and when it was all over they ran from the scene.

“We have no reason to believe that they are still in the area or not in the area," Captain Mark Waters said. "We have no indication right now that they are connected to anything else."

Police said armed robberies don't happen often here, and resident Walter Schulz said he's not too worried either.

“If it concerned me that much I’d have to stay in my house all the time,” answers Schulz. “So it's not going to stop me from going out."

Both men left McDonald's, heading north. The Menomonee Falls Police Department are asking anyone with information on the robbery to call the Menomonee Falls Police Department at 262-532-8700.
