Man arrested for allegedly assaulting bus driver
MILWAUKEE - A man is behind bars after allegedly punching a bus driver while riding his bus.
According to the criminal complaint, police were called after a bus driver said he was assaulted near South 11th Street. The bus driver said he was driving the bus when one of his passengers got up and walked toward the front of the bus, and "punched him in the face several times."
The bus driver also said that as he was being punched, he "started to see stars and believed he lost consciousness for a few seconds." The man then got off the bus, and the bus driver was taken to the hospital.
Police eventually found a suspect, Corian Morgan, 27 of Milwaukee. They also found numerous baggies of marijuana on him.
Morgan was arrested for Substantial Battery (Substantial Bodily Harm with Intent to Cause Bodily Harm) and Battery to a Public Transit Operator.
