KENOSHA - Kenosha Police say they have found several exotic animals, both dead and alive, at a home near 53rd St. and 14th Ave. in Kenosha.

Police uncovered what appeared to be a three-to-four foot long alligator skeleton, the body of a large snake, another dead alligator and a fawn carcass in the back yard.

Inside the home, police found several aquariums with live animals including snakes, a large gila monster, two six-to-eight foot alligators and what was described as a very large snapping turtle.

Police contacted the Racine Zoo and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to help remove the animals from the home.

They have begun an investigation into the discovered animals.
