KENOSHA - Two farm owners face a courtroom Tuesday as they have multiple animal abuse charges against them.

Police in Mount Pleasant said they found at least five dozen dead horses on David and Paula White's property, and their investigation isn't over yet.

According to police, the Whites made the animals live in deplorable conditions.

When investigators were first called to the farm in April, things were so bad that investigators found five dead horses and 24 malnourished horses.

In a second search of the property this month, investigators discovered the bodies of 55 horses, several goats, and some cows buried in a mass grave.

The whites could face more charges for those animal deaths, but at this point, investigators are attempting to determine how animals died.

The Whites were to enter a courtroom Tuesday in Kenosha.
