Deaconess protests stop at the CEO's front door
MILWAUKEE - Protests continued Saturday from workers of Deaconess Home Health Incorporated, after the company unexpectedly shut down before paying employees.
The group met in front of the CEO's condo Saturday afternoon near Ogden and Prospect.
The Department of Workforce Development has now received about 50 complaints from workers, and plans to go through them on a case-by-case basis.
The process could take weeks, or even months.
Deaconess Home Health reportedly employed some 24-hundred people in southeastern Wisconsin.
