Human remains discovered in northern Wisconsin
LINCOLN COUNTY, Wis. - There is renewed hope for the families of three missing people looking for closure, after the discovery of human remains nearby.
No one knows what happened to 21 year old Ben Wilberding, 48 year old Anita Bucki and 56 year old Robert Cartwright.
According to the Wausau Daily Herald, human remains discovered in Taylor County this week raises speculation that one of the three missing person's cases from Lincoln County, just north of Wausau, could be solved.
Wilberding was last seen in 1996 while visiting his parents in the Town of Wilson; Bucki, of the town of Corning, disappeared April 26th of this year; and Cartwright, of the town of Bradley, hasn't been seen since April 15th of 2012.
Investigators from both counties, along with members of the Wisconsin State Crime Lab and the Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigation are working together to try to determine the identity of the remains.
