MILWAUKEE - Kenosha will not be the only southeast Wisconsin city to boast a downtown street car system.

Alderman Robert J. Bauman made that clear during at a Saturday morning news conference on National Train Day, outside the downtown Intermodel Station at 433 W. St. Paul Avenue in Milwaukee.

Alderman Bauman claims the downtown Milwaukee streetcar project is on course and will ultimately create jobs and improve mobility in the city.

Officials also launched a new organization aimed at promoting urban and intercity rail transit in Wisconsin.  It's called "All Aboard Wisconsin."
