A mother and her children, fighting for life after Waukesha crash
WAUKESHA, Wis. - A mother and two children are in critical condition, after their car slammed into a tree in Waukesha Saturday morning, and police are trying to learn what happened in the moments leading up to the accident.
The single vehicle accident happened around 10:30 am at 726 E. Main Street.
It is believed that all three victims have life-threatening injuries.
Witnesses tell Today's TMJ4 that they live just blocks from where the accident happened on Main Street.
They say the mother, a 30 year old woman, was screaming, begging someone to help her children, but witnesses say they couldn't get inside the vehicle.
When firefighters arrived, they were able to gain access. Flight For Life rushed one of the children to Children's Hospital. The mother and the other child also suffered life-threatening injuries and are now hospitalized, as well.
