Family and friends hold vigil for Waukesha murder victim
WAUKESHA - Lots of hugs and tears came at a prayer vigil for a young Waukesha mother gunned down in another domestic violence tragedy.
Nearly 200 people stood side by side to remember Shanel Negron.
The hard working 24-year-old mother with a three-year-old daughter was killed Monday night.
Family and friends are stunned by the senseless violence that ended Shanel’s life.
"I want everybody to know about my sister, is that she was loved. Tonight really opened my eyes," said sister Danielle Rivera.
"She’s a loving caring beautiful woman inside and out. She was taken too early."
The search continues for Eddie Callaway.
The live in boyfriend has been charged with murder, but is still on the run and is considered armed and dangerous.
When asked if the family had a message for him, Danielle said, “No. I have no message for him because he knows what he did and he can think about it.”
