Woman dies after fire at Kenosha home
KENOSHA - A woman has died after being transported to a burn center after a house fire in Kenosha.
TODAY'S TMJ4's Melissa McCrady says crews took the woman, 67, out of a second floor window, revived her and Flight for Life took her to a hospital in Milwaukee.
Two other people escaped the fire.
Chopper 4 shows that white smoke was billowing over the top of a house in the city at about 10:00 a.m. Wednesday morning. The fire began an hour earlier.
Firefighters were shooting water at the top of the house. They remained on scene to battle hot spots into the noon hour.
There was no initial confirmation the cause of the fire.
