Bus crash on Milwaukee freeway
MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee County Sheriff's deputies have gone to the scene of a bus crash Wednesday morning.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says the two-vehicle crash happened at about 6:05 a.m. on I-43/94 southbound near 6th Street and Lincoln Avenue, in a construction zone.
Sheriff's spokeswoman Fran McLaughlin told Newsradio 620 WTMJ's Jay Sorgi that only one lane of southbound traffic was be open while crews cleaned up the scene and moved the bus.
Crews cleared the scene at about 6:40 a.m.
The driver of the car in the crash complained of shoulder and neck injuries.
No kids were on the bus at the time, McLaughlin said.
