Kenosha Police make arrest in double homicide
KENOSHA - The Kenosha Police Department has made two identification of suspects, and one arrest, in the double homicide that occurred on April 5.
According to police, they were called to a home at the 5100 block of 25th Avenue with reports of gunshots in the area. When they arrived, they found two men, Zachary Hernandez, 20, and Carlos Garcia, 23, with gunshot wounds. One was found dead at the scene, and the other later died at the hospital.
“Detectives from the Kenosha Police Department have been investigating the incident and have developed information that has led to the arrest of Darshawn E. Frison, 17 years of age from Kenosha, WI and the identification of DeQuan J. Young, 20 years of age from Chicago, IL, as two individuals involved in the double homicide,” Kenosha Police said.
Frison was arrested April 18, around 5:30 p.m., in the 6000 block of 18th Avenue. A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Young.
