WEST, Tx. - Numerous people were killed and hundreds injured after an explosion at a fertilizer plant which was strong enough to cause a magnitude 2.1 earthquake.

The explosion destroyed many homes near Waco, Tx., while being felt dozens of miles away.  Firefighters were reported missing.
