Man who allegedly sent Sheriff Clarke threatening email is charged

MILWAUKEE - A man has been charged after allegedly sending Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke a threatening email in March.
According to the criminal complaint, Mark Allan Lovejoy, 62 of Milwaukee, send Clarke a message and "used obscene, lewd or profane language." The email also included racial slurs.
"[Lovejoy] stated that he intended to close and save the email, and planned on cleaning it up when he calmed down," the criminal complaint said.
Lovejoy said he was upset with Clarke over his views on gun control and Nutraloaf, but was "mortified" about his behavior and has no plans to cause Clarke any harm.
He was charged with one count of Unlawful Use of a Computerized Communication System - Use of Obscene Language.
