Storm Team 4
'A few inches of rain,' snow possible in next few days
MILWAUKEE - The cloudy, cold and windy and wet weather continues with scattered chances for rain showers throughout the evening. The heaviest rain and best thunderstorm chances occur this evening and into the overnight hours with up to an inch of additional rain expected. Rain could be heavy at times and flood watches and warning continue through Friday when this storm system finally moves east.
Colder air works in behind the massive cold front on Thursday night so some snow could mix in with the rain by Friday morning and a few flakes could fly on Friday though accumulation will be less than one inch.
The best day on the 7 Day Planner is Saturday because it looks to be the driest but still cold for April with highs only in the low 40s. Rain and thunderstorm chances return Sunday through early next week.
