UWM student beaten, robbed near campus

MILWAUKEE - UWM Police say they're searching for three men who beat and robbed a UWM student near the campus.

According to the UWM web site, the robbery happened Monday night at about 9:00 p.m. near the corner of North Cramer Street and East Hartford Avenue.

The site says the suspects punched him multiple times, knocked him down, then stole money from him and fled on Cramer Street.

Two of the suspects are described to be black men, ages 18-20, about 6' 2" and wearing a baseball hat.

The other suspect is also said to be a black man, 18-20 years old, 6' 4" and wearing a hoodie.
