Fire at Mequon home

MEQUON - Fire crews are battling a fire Tuesday morning in Mequon.

The fire happened in a wooded area of Mequon around 10:00 a.m. Tuesday near Heather Drive and Brianhill Road in Mequon.

Smoke was seen far away from that wooded area.

Mequon Police tell TODAY'S TMJ4's Nick Montes that no one was hurt.

A man and his son live in the home. A neighbor told Nick that he saw the man around the home shortly after the fire started.

Mequon, Germantown, North Shore and Thiensville Fire Departments all responded to the fire.

There was no initial word on the cause of the fire or the amount of damage.
