Advocates against domestic abuse rally at Lambeau Field
GREEN BAY - Advocates for abuse victims, including a survivor of domestic abuse, were at Lambeau Filed Monday telling the Wisconsin's Joint Finance Committee to up the amount of money they give to organizations like Green Bay's "Golden House."
Directors of both the Harbor House in Green Bay and Appleton say more and more families are seeking their help. They served more than 3,300 hundred victims last year between the two locations.
The Wisconsin Coalition Against Domestic Violence is asking legislators to increase the state's funding to abuse victim services from seven million to eight million dollars.
