Sheboygan and Ozaukee Counties take their turn on the stage for FEMA workers Wednesday.
Todd Haske is still cleaning out his basement from the intense flooding and welcomes the visit by federal inspectors. "We all pay taxes, and if we can get some federal money in here to help out our community, great!"
The counties need to declared an official "disaster area" for residents and business owners to get their hands on financial assistance for the clean up. Much of the damage in Sheboygan and Ozaukee Counties was done by the flooded Milwaukee River, and FEMA staffers will be taking a look and deciding whether the area qualifies for federal assistance.
