FONTANA - Several Restaurants in Walworth County are coming together today for a burger throw down to raise money for a program that teaches high school students how to cook.

Badger High School in Lake Geneva has a culinary arts program.  Russ Tronsen runs the program.

"The television has made the profession more in the spotlight and I think it allures students to try to get in there and be the next celebrity chef," Tronsen said.

People who go to the event at the Abbey Resort in Fontana get to sample burger samples from the participating restaurants.

"We calculated it out that if someone can manage to eat them all, it will be well over three pounds of hamburger," Tronsen said.

Celebrity judges will pick the best burger.
