A car may have been used as a weapon in love triangle fight
MILWAUKEE - A love triangle that started at a house party, and then hit the street -- all of it ending with a big bang and an angry ex-girlfriend in the Milwaukee County jail.
3:30 Friday morning, police say Glenda Jackson was behind the wheel of a Chevy Blazer, ramming the car in front of her on I-94 near 27th St.. But this was no accident.
Glenda Jackson: "They tried to hit me with their car, so I didn't know how to deal with it."
Jackson admits she did it on purpose, but claims she's the victim. The man in the other car, the father of her children. The woman, his new girlfriend. Here's what he had to say in the back of a squad car.
Man: "That's my baby mama and she's mad because I'm with somebody."
But Jackson tells a different tale -- that the three were at a party and an altercation ensued. Jackson claims the girlfriend knocked her down first as they left the party.
Glenda Jackson: My thing was, I'm not going to stop. I'm going to come find you."
During the traffic stop, a deputy smelled alcohol on Jackson's breath.
Deputy: Have you been drinking tonight?
Deputy: How much?
Jackson: One drink. I had one drink.
But a breath test showed her blood alcohol level was .13 -- nearly twice the legal limit.
Jackson is in the county jail facing DUI and reckless endangerment charges.
