MILWAUKEE - It's Game On for Brewers fever! Baseball is back at Miller Park.
The boys of summer will hit the diamond for Friday's first exhibition game.
In just a few hours the Milwaukee Brewers will be back out on the baseball diamond at home as the season gets underway.
Miller Park is ready to go, the grass is green, the logo is painted. Now they just need the players.
"It's home sweet home for our brewers and we've played extremely well here at home," said Dave Nelson, TV analyst.
Friday starts a new season for the crew.
“I think everyone is wondering, ‘What can we expect?’” Nelson said. “There were some doubts until we got Kyle Lohse and I think… it’s going to help bolster our starting rotation."
Nelson thinks the veterans and the newbies complement each other well. Now they need to get those opening day jitters out of the way.
"I know when I was a player way back in the day opening day would come around and you'd get those little butterflies in your stomach and I think the most important thing is to try to go out and perform well for the fans," Nelson said.
Tickets are still available to both Friday and Saturday’s games and are just $10 each. Friday's game begins at 7:10 p.m.
