Racine County school locked down after parking lot fight
RACINE - The Racine Unified School District says that a principal at an elementary school locked down a school building after a fight in a parking lot.
The fight involved two adults, according to spokeswoman Stacy Tapp. It happened at about 8:20 a.m. at the school on the 5900 block of Erie Street.
The lockdown lasted about a half hour.
There was no initial word of anyone being hurt during the altercation.
Tapp said Caledonia Police would assist in security Thursday, and again on Tuesday when students return from the holiday break surrounding Easter Sunday.
