MILWAUKEE - People who are flying Delta Airlines through Mitchell International Airport are using a different concourse starting Wednesday.

Delta has moved its fleet's boarding gates from Mitchell's Concourse E to Concourse D, the former Midwest and Frontier Airlines' locale.

As Frontier cut its daily flight schedule from 87 to 7, Delta has increased and needs more space.

Delta has operated in Concourse E, the smallest of Mitchell International's three concourses.

The move to the larger, more recently renovated Concourse D means Delta passengers would have more food options, newer and larger gates, a larger club room for frequent fliers and more security lines.

TSA workers at the concourse would be able to handle up to 1,200 passengers per hour.

Many more changes could be coming to Mitchell, including the possibilities of other airlines coming to Milwaukee.
