MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee Police have arrested a 27-year-old man after allegedly robbing two UWM students at gunpoint just blocks from the UWM campus.

Authorities are looking for two other people.

The robbery happened just before 10:00 p.m. Tuesday night near the corner of North Newhall and East Newport, not far from the UWM campus.

Police would not confirm that the victims are students, but they said the victims live in the area.

Authorities say three people approached a 19-year-old man from Milwaukee and a 20-year-old man from South Milwaukee.

Police told TODAY'S TMJ4's Nick Montes that one suspect had a semi-automatic handgun and demanded the victim's cell phone, money and credit and bank cards.

Police said they were questioning the suspect they arrested, in order to find the other two people involved in the robbery.

If you have any information, police ask you to call them.
