Brewers battle Angels today, Lohse's first assignment, and team's favorite steak

MILWAUKEE - While the Milwaukee Brewers get ready for a spring training matchup with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, the newest Brewer is expected to get his spring training outing in on Thursday.

Kyle Lohse, who signed with the Brewers on Tuesday, is expected to hit the mound on Thursday when the team faces the Colorado Rockies.

Lohse went 16-3 in 2012 with the St. Louis Cardinals.

He told Newsradio 620 WTMJ's "Sports Central with the Freak and the Geek" that he wanted to talk all along with Milwaukee about becoming a Brewer in 2013.

Lohse will wear No. 26 while pitching for Milwaukee.
