2 additional cases of Crypto confirmed

BROWN DEER - The North Shore Health Department has confirmed two new cases of Cryptosporidium Monday, Oct. 7, bringing the total number in the jurisdiction to 19.

"We do expect to see an increase in the number of Crypto cases as a result of person-to-person contact," said Jamie Berg with the North Shore Health Department.

The North Shore Water Commission and Treatment Plant has confirmed that the drinking water is safe.
