MADISON - The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund will hold a special meeting in April to reconsider a decision to leave murdered Wauwatosa officer Jennifer Sebena off its memorial wall.

Officer Sebena was shot to death while on duty in December, 2012, and her husband is the suspect.

The NLEOMF called a meeting for April 3, according to a message posted on the Wisconsin Professional Police Association Facebook page.

The meeting is the result of an outcry from many in Wisconsin who have called for officer Sebena's name to be added.  Sebena was murdered, allegedly by her husband, while on duty last Christmas Eve.

Because her death involved domestic violence, a national law enforcement group refused to put her name on its memorial, but a lot of people complained.

Now the group says it'll reconsider its decision on April 3, instead of delaying the decision until 2014.
