Weekend freeze in store for Milwaukee
MILWAUKEE - The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for more sunshine and light wind, but continued cold conditions with highs in the low to mid 30s. Tonight will be quiet and cold with a clear sky and lows in the teens away from the lake and lower 20s along the water.
Saturday will be partly cloudy with highs in the mid 30s and Sunday will be cloudy with flurries and scattered light snow showers, especially south of Milwaukee, with less than 1" of accumulation. Highs will be in the mid 30s and winds will be out of the NE at 15-25 mph.
Monday will continue to be breezy and cold with flurries and highs in the mid 30s. We are in a rut with the weather and it would be great if that rut was sunny and 70, but its sunny and 30s through next week. There is a chance for a rain/snow mix on Thursday, otherwise it will be dry and chilly.
