MILWAUKEE - According to a published report, MLB is firing back at a report calling a Brewers slugger the target of an investigation into performance-enhancing drugs.

Journal Sentinel beat writer and Newsradio 620 WTMJ "Brewers 360" contributor Tom Haudricourt says Wednesday that MLB's vice president refuted a previous report calling Brewers slugger Ryan Braun "Public Enemy No. 1" in a recent investigation into the Biogenesis group in Miami.

A Yahoo! Sports report said that Braun's name was on a list of athletes connected to the alleged PED supplier.

Braun said he had "nothing to hide" in the investigation.

USA Today called Braun MLB's "highest-profile target."
