CUDAHY - The man who knocked down women and attempted to rob them at local parks will spend more than three years in prison.
Fermin Ramirez-Chavez preyed on the women jogging at Warnimont Park in Cudahy, as well as Bay View Park in Saint Francis.
The Cudahy attack took place on Aug. 9, 2012 and the Bay View attack took place Aug. 24, 2013. According to police, Ramirez-Chavez knocked the women down and then attempted to take their belongings.
He was sentenced Tuesday to more three years in prison followed by extended supervision for two years.
