Waukesha endures frigid last day of winter
WAUKESHA - Winter will end in just a day - at least on the calendar.
However, all of Southeastern Wisconsin is under a winter weather advisory, with snow and wind chills dipping down to just five degrees Tuesday morning.
The temperature display at Sunset Bank in Waukesha showed 13 degrees at 5:00 a.m. Tuesday. The wind chill made it feel even colder.
Flags violently whipped, revealing the fast winds coming through the area.
In 2012, March 19th brought 72-degree temperatures, followed by 83 and 84 degree days.
Winter gear may be needed through next week.
