No charges to be filed in Walworth Co. pit bull attack
WALWORTH COUNTY - The district attorney in Walworth County has said he will not be filing charges in the pit bull attack from March 6.
Fourteen-month-old Dax Borchardt was attacked by two of the dogs owned by his babysitter, and later died from his injuries. The babysitter was sent to the hospital after calling 911, but her current condition is unknown.
The Walworth County district attorney said his office has finished reviewing all evidence in the case, and did not feel there was reason to fill criminal charges against anyone.
The pit bulls were euthanized soon after the attack.
