MARYVALE, Ariz. - The Milwaukee Brewers get back to action Monday in spring training - all except their biggest superstar. Another big-time slugger
The Brewers' take to the field against the Cleveland Indians at 3:05 p.m. CT in Goodyear, Ariz. on Monday.
Brewers slugger Ryan Braun told the Journal Sentinel, however, he would be taking a short break following the World Baseball Classic.
Newsradio 620 WTMJ's next Brewers radio broadcast comes Tuesday when Milwaukee faces the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim at 2:55 p.m.
At this pace, it may be two big-time sluggers who could join the Brewers' Opening Day roster - one of them big-time in spring training, at least.
Khris Davis' power explosion in March is leaving a wake of "Will he make the roster?" questions abounding.
The more power he produces, the better his chances.
Another issue to look at the final two weeks: will "promising" pitcher Mark Rogers get the chance to fulfill that promise on the final roster after a subpar spring?
