Man injured after shot fired into car near Milwaukee Catholic school

MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee Police say that a man was found injured after shots were fired into his car near a Catholic high school in Milwaukee.

The shots were fired at about 3:00 a.m. near the corner of North 7th Street and West Capitol Drive, the location of Messmer High School.

Police tell TODAY'S TMJ4 that the man was taken to the hospital.  He was released.

According to police, the victim, 33, was involved in an altercation with someone else.

Then, someone fired a shot into the man's car.

Police did not initially know if the bullet or breaking glass injured the man.
