Some speculate that Walker could be a contender for the Republican presidential nominee in 2016.
Walker reportedly told the news outlet Politico that he would be open to a bid for President.
But, Walker said his primary concern is in helping the state of Wisconsin create jobs and put people back to work.
Walker touted his achievements in closing a budget deficit and in winning a recall election.
Walker said, "In America, people don't grow up dreaming of being dependent on the government. In America, people don't come to this country as immigrants because someday they want to become dependent on the government. In America, they live the American dream."
