More snow to the north of us, rain/snow mix in Milwaukee-area for the weekend
MILWAUKEE - The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for a dreary and damp Friday with light rain in addition to sleet and snow north of Milwaukee. Highs will be in the lower 30s to the north, to near 40 to the south.
As temperatures drop this evening, the precipitation changes to light snow, with about an inch of accumulation for most of SE Wisconsin. Areas north of Milwaukee could see 1-2" of snow.
This weekend will be cold with highs struggling to get into the lower 30s and lows in the teens. Saturday will have flurries, and Sunday will have more sunshine.
Another storm system move sin for Monday with more snow and rain as highs remain in the middle 30s. The rest of next week is quiet, but it will be cold with highs stuck in the 30s.
